Wonderful and very large 19th century Cuckoo clock.
The two-train 8-day movement, time-going side on a fusee and the strike side (bellows) on a spring going barrel…all totally original.
The hand painted articulated cuckoo calls on the hour and the passing of the half hour which are accompanied by a gong strike.
Running excellently and in fine working order.
The dial has the original Roman numerals
Bellows are in good order, bird and door operating as one would expect.
Original pendulum and key.
